Michelle Reyes has selected A Lantern in Her Hand by Bess Streeter Aldrich as our August book.
Book Club will be held at the Reyes' home
on Wednesday, August 6 (7pm)

Hey, Jennifer. Did you take me off the book club email list or was I never on? I would love if you put me on it. It's gmail now, not comcast. How was your last meeting? I didn't get through the book, though I did start it and thought the guy was pretty funny. And I like his ideas on zoos and how the wild animals are NOT miserable, but in fact the opposite. That was funny and a good twist on what we commonly think. I think I might like to finish it when I'm more in the mood. Right now I just want pure fluff. Any suggestions?
